MOULTRIE, Ga. â Colquitt County students from third to 12th grades showcased their best hogs Tuesday, March 2, in the Colquitt County 4-H and FFA Hog Show at the county agricultural complex.
The students competed in heats organized by grade level.
Mason Bass and Carolyne Turner took home the top prizes of the Grand Champion Market Barrow and the Grand Champion Market Gilt, respectively. Each received a prize of $1,500 for their top place victory.

Stable Craft Brewery owners Craig and Nikki Nargi presented a gift Thursday, March 4, of 500 half gallons of Maola milk to donate to the Blue Ridge Food Bank.
The Nargis say they are happy to help the food bank while supporting the local supply chain.
“I wanted to put something together for our farmers,” Craig Nargi said. “We found a great opportunity to donate a local product to our food bank.”

A tradie has been left stunned after finding a secret note and gift hidden under a cabinet.
British kitchen fitter Craig Harrigan was tearing out old units at an apartment when he discovered a small bottle and a message scrawled on the vinyl floor.
It was a message from the previous owners of the apartment in Perth, Scotland, along with a miniature bottle of Glenkinchie whisky.
Surprised by his find, Craig – who goes by the username @hooserice88 – took to TikTok to share the message he d uncovered 20 years after it was written.
